Journal/Diary type novels? Any recommendations, preferably young adult?

I want to learn how to write a novel in journal format.
I have the book, ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’ and am planning on reading it. If there are any journal/diary type books fiction or not, that deal with teenage or young adult issues, could you give me the names of them? In high school or in university would be better. If there are any that deal with social anxiety or homosexuality, that would be really great.

Has anyone taken a MMPI at the physiatrist office?

I went to see a physiatrist for anxiety and depression. I was prescribed Lexapro, Klonopin and my doctor ordered me to take a MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory). Has anyone ever taken one of these and been diagnosed with something other then what they originally went to the doctor for help with? Is this a way for doctors to start labeling me with more conditions then I went for help for? The test was full of weird questions and I don’t know …

Come this Friday, I will be left in the house by myself for the next month. I’m just getting over bad problems with anxiety, and am worried about nights alone.
