Do they always work? I have high blood pressure (more so when I have to go the the doctors)and know they will put me on blood pressure medication when I go. My blood pressure rises more because of anxiety, will the bp meds still work?

I have recently learned that I may have anxiety or panic disorder. I really would like to find ways to cope with anxiety.
