How does a person seek to overcome their OCD during a pandemic?
You know, the whole “irrational” fear of germs thing?
You never rally ‘overcome’ ocd. You learn coping skills. OCD is a lifelong condition for most people.
It depends on what form the ‘fear of disease’ takes. Not all OCD is the same, so not all sufferers will fear the same kinds of things.

Desiree M asked: I have always suffered from horrible anxiety attacks, and nothing seems to help. I have been given different types of medicines for it but they seem to only temporarily fix the problem. Recently, one of my neighbors informed me that he has the same problem and his doctor suggested having a pet as therapy for it. I have heard of this before. Is this true? Can a pet really be good for these types of things? And if so, do doctors really “prescribe” pets?

stopped birth control pill, when will my side effects go away?
I was on it for 7 months, i switched all sorts of brands but still had terrible anxiety and mood swings. so now im wondering if it will go away soon.
It will when your body uses up the extra estrogen and when your hormones level out. Sometimes it can take awhile though. I have tried so many brands before I found one that’s not quite perfect but it doesn’t make me sick. Good luck!

Borderline personality disorder is actually less common and less known than bipolar. Borderline personality disorder accounts for only about twenty percent of hospitalizations for mental illness each year, while bipolar accounts for about fifty percent of hospitalizations. Borderline personality disorder is most common in young women, whereas bipolar is equally …
