Fear of swimming in the ocean?

I absolutely LOVE the ocean, but I’m terrified of getting in the water. Every time I do, I freak out because I think that either a crab or a jellyfish will bite/sting me.
My mom got bitten by a crab and ended up getting meningitis. She almost died! My friend and my aunt have been stung by jellyfish and they said it was the most painful thing they’ve ever experienced. I’m petrified now.
