Adderall Anxiety
Adderall for Social Anxiety?

I’m interested in hearing if anyone’s ever been prescribed Adderall (or Concerta, etc) for any off label reasons (IE: Not ADD). I’ve been hearing it can put a dent in social phobia.

What say you?
For what it’s worth, I’ve been on Paxil, Effexor, Wellbutrin, and Prestiq. None of these have helped me at all, which is why I’m looking into alternative solutions.

Benzos work for my anxiety, but it’s a short term fix and I’m looking for something lasting.
Has anyone ever heard of ADD being an underlying factor of social anxiety?

I have heard of people being perscribed Adderall for this problem, but it is rare. Adderall causes the body to calm down, so it would obviously have that effect if you freak out in a social sitruation. There are a lot of other opportunities. For example, when I know I’m going to be in a stressfull situation I take a mild sedative called Librax or Inderal. They work well. If it’s a long term thing, I used to take Paxil which worked GREAT, but I hear that it only works well in women. I had a lot of problems with Social anxiety and these helped a lot! There’s a whole list at anxieties.com/med-intro.php
