Link between anxiety and creativity??
Have you ever heard of a link between anxiety and creativity?
I have severe anxiety, but I think I have depression a lot as well – it goes from being so scared of dying, to wanting to die, self-harming and alcohol at times… then anxiety starts to build up again, but for some reason always very proactive at this time and often very creative. Like I suddenly start to paint several canvases and have Ideas for stories I am going to write. Then the anxiety gets severe again and I am too busy cleaning everything and thinking about heart attacks.
Could this be caused by the relief of not being anxious/ depressed? it feels like it. Is there generally a link?
