Anxiety About Death
Fear of Death. What are your thoughts on Death? Scared?

Also, to others who may have Death Anxiety:
Don’t worry too much about death/dying. It’s a natural process that has to take place and it will happen regardless.

Just remember that you’ve been put on earth to fulfill a mission and you won’t be taken off the earth until God feels as if it’s been fulfilled.
:)
I’m 14 and I just wanted to see how everyone else feels about Death. Are you scared of death? Why or Why Not?

My Thoughts:

The only time I really get worked up about death is when I think about what will happen after I die. What will happen to my stuff? (Corny, I know.) Will I even be remembered?

Me personally, I feel a lot better after reading about others who are in the same situation as I am. It lets me know I’m not alone.

Most people were saying that I didn’t need to worry about dying because I am still young and have my whole life ahead of me, I’m just hoping that is the case.

Most people fears death. People fear it for different reasons, some, like you, worry about their things, some worry about where their soul will go, some worry about the people they will leave behind.

We all know that it will happen, regardless to anything–nothing stops death. It’s strange to think that in 100 yrs. every person you know will be dead. Some people lean on their faith to help them cope with the unknown. Some people take comfort in knowing they will be in a better place, some people think you just are in a deep sleep until you are awakened, some people think you are instantly given a new body and become a new person. I think there is nothing you can do to stop it–why spend years thinking about it, stop, and just enjoy living, and that works for me.
Yes, you are VERY young, and should not be concerned with death, you should be focusing on how to have the best life possible. So stop, worrying about it, and start enjoying your life…:)
