Anxiety About Moving

Anxiety About Moving
Anxiety about marriage and moving out of parents home?

I have been with my fiance for 5 years, engaged for 1 and up until two months ago i was happy about getting married and moving into a new home. It is normal that all of a sudden i am getting SOOOOO nervous about getting married and moving out of my parents home (never lived on my own before) I am turning 25 in September.

This is driving me crazy and i need to know if this is normal because the anxiety is taking over. The wedding is not for another 11 months but we are suppose to move into the house in 2 months. I am totally freaking out! Will we get along living together? Will i be happy? What if i am not happy? Am i ready for the responsibility? so on and so on

Any thoughts?

Either your gut is trying to tell you something or this is how you normally respond to the unknown. More than likely you’re just fearing the unknown and never been out on your own fills you with question. You need to experience life before you get married. 25 is still pretty young to get married and you’ve been tied up with the same guy in a relationship for your whole adult life. Why not move out on your own before you get married? Experience life a little. That might make all the difference for you. It’s a good idea to have some independence. It helps you know who you are and helps you figure out what you want in life and what to expect.
