Respiratory problems .. "hungry Air?"?

Since November I have trouble breathing. But unacceptable to the doctor. Mother and sister and I have asthma. Inhalers, but try not to work. I do not feel like I can breathe fully, and often try to find that it feels like I get oxygen. Anyone know or experience the same thing.
