recently I have started having anxiety attacks while eating and drinking even when I am alone?

I feel as though I may drop whatever it is that I am holding in my hands like a cup or a fork, when i bring them up to my mouth my arm shakes. It is embrassing when I am with people who then ask me what is wrong, and I can’t explain it.

Is this what happens during your anxiety attack or is this the cause of it? I’m thinking the eating is causing them from what I understood, so I will answer upon that assumption. Well you have the anxiety because you feel stressed when you eat and drink. You are worried you will look funny. It sounds to me like you are so upset about this that you are now getting the anxiety when you are alone too. It is no longer only when you are in front of others. It is upsetting to you and from what you wrote you don’t know why you are doing it. If you don’t know why you are doing it then you would be having anxiety due to worrying what is wrong with you. You really need to see your doctor. Go to your primary care and let him know what is going on. He can send you to specialists and you can get some anxiety medication and hopefully figure out what is causing the shaking. I wish you the best of luck.
