Thinking you’re going to die, or have a heart attack, or pass out are frequent symptoms of panic attacks.

the first time i had a panic attack i thought i was dying and there was nothing i could do about it. i was with my mom and i was begging her to do something to help, call the doctors or something and she kept telling me i was a hypocondriac (spelling?), i was fine and to turn off the acting. wow nice mother eh? the way i learned to cope with these are to focus on breathing (even though it feels like my throat is closing up) and to have a hot shower.

You know, I have experienced every single thing you have mentioned.. Anxiety is a horrid nightmare to live with everyday. I can’t even go out into public anymore. And eating at a restaurant, well that stopped a few years back. Just all the noises of people talking and moving around.. Drives me insane! I just have to put my head down and cover my eyes and ears. And my anxiety just hits me out of nowhere, for no apparent reason. Thanks for making this video.

Hi Charles.. Is ALCOHOLISM a form of anxiety? Can that be cured? Like you said..medication or psychotherapy will not cure you..that’s why i wanted to know if alcoholism can be cured by your methods.

Lately I have been having extremely weird symptoms. I thought I had got over anxiety/panic attacks, but a few weeks ago it felt like I had a heart attack out of nowhere. Now lately it’s really hard to sleep and I feel like I am going insane can I have any advice Mr.Linden?

thank you so much for this video, ive been using alcohol as medication for this, now i know i havent been having withdrawal after a night of drinking. My thoughts have been messed up but i know id never harm anyone. Anyway, im going to stop drinking and try and eat healthy and see how i go from there. Sorry if my post is a bit confusing… youl understand why, but once again thanks!

i did the linden method about 6 years ago, it really works. I was really really bad and tried all kinds of things. Dont ever think “but I have something different than you had”.. Anxiety manifests in so many ways that it can be perceived as something different but its not. The exact same mechanism in the brain allowed it to develop, and its through that mechanism that you reverse permanently.

weakness down one side of the body and /or chest pains should not initially be put down to anxiety, these symptoms should be checked by a Doctor

  • RoomOfMusic said:

could you talk about derealization and depersonization abit more because i think this would help out alot of teens like myself

My problem is this. My brain is completely rational and knows there is no danger, however my body (and its symtoms) are telling me something totally different!!!!

Saekkii, Just wanted to give my experience. I had extreme panic attacks and Agoraphobia. I wouldn’t leave the house, and could NOT go out to eat or somewhere where I had no escape. His program is a god send. Don’t even second guess it anymore… Charle’s program IS the answer. Best of Luck.

Hi Charles :-) Its very nice to see that you give this valuable information about anxiety in general! Could you give some insights to Social Phobia / Agoraphobia in here or just in phobias in general? I would love that :-)
