anxiety and panic attacks? Im 15 and idk if im having these or not?

okay so i’ve has almost every symptom on the list of symptoms for panic attacks, anxiety and stress. But alot of people say panic attacks feel like heart attacks, but i feel like i just can’t breath not to the point where i freak out but to the point where i have to take big huge breaths because i feel my lungs are getting pushed together. am i having panic attacks? My heart rate goes up too Im 15 by the way

like you correctly said, panic attacks feel like a heart attack, or make you feel as if you were not going to make it through. The heavy breathing sounds like you are hyperventilating but I am definitely not an expert. However, it’s important that you ask a doctor, someone who knows these things. Panic attacks are very debilitating and you don’t want to let it get that far.

panic attacks can range from low to high levels of panic. If you feel like it’s almost as painful as a heart attack it’s most likely a nervous breakdown. You need to get this taken care of. Go to a psychiatrist and get on some anxiety meds, you will feel a lot better.
it may be anxiety, you may have a social anxiety disorder..check with your doc!
Hmmm – it is possible. Do you feel the “fight or flight” feelings, as though you are going to totally lose control? Even if it isn’t a textbook “panic attack” (which it could be) it would be a good idea to see a psychologist or psychiatrist, since it is obviously causing you difficulties in your daily life and giving you even more stress by wondering what it is. Sometimes knowing can help you feel better already.
