Anxiety Association Australia

I need help I am having a spiritual crisis I have mixed heritage English and native american?
I know very little about my native merican ancestry however, my grandmother merely opened my eyes to a way of perceiving life. It had a profound influence on my world view. Over the years I have met many native americans living here in Australia or visitors from the USA. Some have been beautiful people living and talking in a way that reminded me of my grandmother. Others seemed to be very arogant and saw Australia as a good place to make money. Once I was asked to keep fire for a (won’t mention her name) who was doing lodge for a group of young women. I heard her calling them white trash. I walked away from NACHA here in Australia because they would only allow not natives to join as full members some of these people worked tirelessly helping to get the association up and running. I became disillusioned. I have also been ashamed of being an Australian after a number of heartless responses to refugees and their involvement in the gulf war. Three years ago I developed severe anxiety
Don’t let one woman or bad experience turn you away from who you are.
Don’t ever be ashamed of who you are. Learn more about your culture. There are those out there who are good-hearted and will welcome you and teach you about your culture. Keep trying to find those people and ignore the rest.
