I’ve suffered from anxiety attacks since 5th grade, im in 10th now, theyre usually when im on a 2nd floor of a building, or when im in a classroom and i know i cant leave, like when we’re having a test and i cant leave the room. I usually have one. I feel like im just gonna pass out or throw up…can this really happen? Can I really throw up or pass out?

Absolutely it can happen. I have anxiety attacks. When I feel one coming on. I close my eyes and take deep breaths in a quiet area. If you can’t do that I recommend Valium or Zanax, Check with a doctor before taking in medication.
Anxiety attacks can happen anywhere at anytime. They are caused by a chemical imbalance. Please go to the link below.

I doubt it, but its normal to have these panic attacks, they offer help for this sort of thing
and sometimes teachers can be understanding, talk to them

In short yes you can……but you have identified what triggers your attacks and that is the first step of controlling them.
The sooner you take action when you feel an attack coming on the better the chance you have of getting your heart rate down and thinking clearly.
I find that focussing on my breathing and counting backwards from 300 really helps me.
Good luck and you are not alone

When you feel anxious, just remember to breathe. Take slow deep breaths and try to focus on something that settles your mind. Maybe a field of flowers or a ride or horses running on the beach. Remember that you are NOT stuck where you are and will get out of the situation eventually. I know, easier said than done, but it’s how I get along in life without meds.
    Good luck! ;)

PS To answer you question lol…I have never passed out or thrown up but I’m sure it could happen if you let the anxiety get to you.

I’m in tenth also, and have suffered from Anxiety and Panic Attacks for a while too.
I’ve never thrown up or passed out.

But what helps is reminding yourself that your in control and ignore the attacks.
Pretend like they don’t bother you and try to ignore them.
If you concentrate on them and freak out it makes them longer and hit you harder.

I also meditate once in a while after a stressful day or on days of tests.
    Working out also helps them.

I barely have them once a month anymore when I used to have them 2-3 times a week.

    Hope I helped! :)
