any ideas?

Even having just ONE panic attack can physiologically rev your body up to a level that makes it very easy to have one again. It’s as if your body “remembers” the panic attack, and thus is more succeptible to it. You might think you’re not stressed mentally, but your body is likely stressed out because of them.
This is very, very, common. It is a rough experience and you need to get into a doctor right away. They have all kinds of medications that are of great help. It is fear of the fear that feeds the attack. From a psychological perspective, just tell yourself that you will handle whatever comes instead of bracing for the worst. I wish you the best. Many, many people have been through this and I assure you that you will get through it and be stronger for it.
These are very unpleasant symptoms. Something must be going on subconsciously in order to provoke this type of response. My suggestion is go see your doc soon because sometimes anxiety may evolve into a debilitating condition. You may need medication and compliment it with counseling to get to the root of your problem. Good luck.
My sister gets those. She has other health issues going on too, not mental, but physical, and lots of events in her life that she feels she has to be perfect about. She’s a perfectionist. Do you share that trait with her?
It would help if you could relax sometimes, like force yourself to relax somehow. I was told by a nurse who got after me for not doing bed rest before that it doesn’t count as relaxing if you’re reading a book or something. You have to be laying down and literally doing nothing. Just resting.
Could you try doing that sometimes, and also some exercise every day, like a walk?
Can also go to a counselor if you can’t get it to stop.
Were you under a lot of stress a few weeks ago? The reason why I ask is because I experience my anxiety attacks AFTER the stressful events occur. It seems like my body keeps up with the stressful event, but once it’s over the stress catches up with me. My advice is when you are in the midst of anything stressful, make time for relaxation and tension release. This will help avoid anxiety attacks.
