Anxiety Bad Posture
Neck pain made worse by anxiety?

Currently I have had pain in my left shoulder for the past few weeks. I believe it has to do with my posture at work. I stare at a computer all day and work with tiny numbers. I sit with basically my left shoulder as a headrest. My neck is constantly tucked on my shoulder. I recently had this slight pain above my left eyebrow. It mostly hurts when I turn my head and try to look all the way to my left. It feels like a strain in my eyebrow. I also suffer from hypochondria and anxiety. I believe this is making my pain worse as I think to myself I have a blood clot or a tumor. Nothing mentally has been affected I can think and act normal except for the shoulder pain. I am only 19 and have had shoulder problems before. Does this sound like a shoulder strain, and it my anxiety making it worse?

While anxiety appears to have many causes, it also may have many treatments. Some people use stretching and exercise for anxiety. Some people use valerian root capsules for anxiety, which can be obtained cheaply from a supermarket vitamin aisle; not everyone likes valerian root and some may find its odor offensive. Some people use the services of a trained mental health professional. A trained health professional may also be needed to assess the cause of pain.

How do I know what kind of headache I have?
