High blood pressure meds for pregnancy?

Do they always work? I have high blood pressure (more so when I have to go the the doctors)and know they will put me on blood pressure medication when I go. My blood pressure rises more because of anxiety, will the bp meds still work?

They will put you on a blood pressure medicine that is safe for pregnancy.
I have been on two. But I take Amlomidipine(sp) now. It seems to be keeping my blood pressure at a good level. Just talk to your doctor when you go!
