Anxiety Brain Tumor
How can my friend who has a brain tumor, ocd, and anxiety get help!?

plus she seems to have some sort of eating disorder and is loosing her memory. It’s bad. There’s this mental center and they have a waiting list, so she can’t get in. Her mom’s tried calling the emergency number when my friend snaps and they tell her that she should call the cops and have her arrested!?! She needs mental help, not to go to jail. I don’t know how to help or who to go to. She is locked at home 24/7 and has severe ocd with her Hygiene. It’s at the point where her mom has to go into the bathroom with her, and she wipes herself till she bleeds because she feels unclean. She’s 21 years old! I feel so bad. The hospital won’t or can’t do anything about her brain tumor. Her family’s not well off financially. Is there a way to possibly have her go up the list or something? I mean I’m scared she might self inflict or go mad and do something.

Since I don’t know where you and your friend live I do not know what services might be available to her. Email me with more details and I will try to offer specific suggestions and resources for her.
