how long do anxiety attacks last?

Ive had anxiety/panic attacks etc before (bad ones), but now the past two days its been constant, not in the panic form but more in a relaxed but yet tense feeling. I still tlak to to people do my evryday things, laugh think things are funny, in the having trouble breathing, heart is messed up rapid haeartbeats etc., chest pain, tingly feeling. Ive been checked by a doctor and he said evrythin si fine its anxiety. But is it possible it lasts a whole day, and even when your not thinknig about it its stil there? The only thing i cant do normally is excercise, and i think im convinced thats form the ocndition im in of constant chest pain anxiety feeling all day long. THe only time im totally relaxed is when im sleeping. THen ill wkae up ill be fine then bam the anxiety hits me and im like thta for the whole day. Has anynoe experienced this weird case of anxiety? and can any help me?

i may be really off base here, but you are having trouble breathing, chest pain, and rapid heartbeats. Sure , it could be an anxiety attack, or some strange type of allergy, or some heart or lung or asthma type thing. maybe even a lung infection.

i had those symptoms, and the MD did an EKG, gave me anti-anxiety drugs AND sent me to a psychiatrist.

I haven’t had a tingly feeling with anxiety attacks – ever.

the fact that you can not exercise due to chest pain is VERY worrisome. Esp if the pain gets WORSE with exercise.

Can you see another doctor? i really think your symptoms should be treated more seriously – even if it is just treating for anxiety by giving you one of the anti-anxiety drugs for a few days.
