Anxiety disorder symptoms?

Ok I have GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) but I feel that lately I have been getting better. However, the thing that really freaks me out is the physical symptoms. I have an appt with a neurologist in a few weeks, but I’m still really freaked out. Even when I feel I’m not anxious, I’ll suddenly notice some physical symptom, and then totally flip. The main thing is the buzzing/vibrating feeling in my head, and arms/hands. It feels like a low electric current is going through me…not my legs though. But it seems like the symptoms start FIRST, then the anxiety comes as a RESULT. I am also nauseous a lot, but I’m on amoxicillin for a sinus infection….but the vibration feeling started before that. If I have an anxiety disorder (I’m not on meds, and won’t go on them) could I still get physical symptoms even if I’m not anxious at that exact moment?

yes you could at least in my experience i used to feel like my head would get cold on the top. its weird but the more you can take your mind off it the better.try watching a good movie or something and you will realize you were not having the symptoms when you were not thinking about them.im like you too i never took meds either and ive been alot better its simply mind over matter.
I’ve been diagnosed with GAD for about 3-4 years now.
The physical/ill symptoms you’re feeling come along with the anxiety.
The same thing happens to me. I feel a bit nauseated, or get a mild headache, and then my mind spins out of control and scares me into vomiting and migranes.
The symptom will manifest itself, and then you overthink it, and then anxiety sets in.
Don’t be afraid to go to the neurologist. I went through the same type of thing.
The buzzing could be from something else, but my guess is that your mind takes it out of control, and it’s all you can focus on for that moment.
So the answer to your question is yes, you definitely can still have the physical symptoms, and have anxiety as a result. Happens to me all the time.
I understand the whole not wanting to go on meds thing. I’m on them, and I don’t feel any different.
Well, good luck!
