Anxiety Disorder Treatment Without Medication

PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY ANXIETY!!!?
I have a anxiety disorder that is pretty much running my life. I cant talk to people, I cant go out in public alone, im even gaining weight from siting in my room all the time. Im 17 years old, I live with my parents and Ill be attending college next year in the spring to become a teacher. I bite my nails constantly, in fact, my parents cant remember a time when I WASN’T biting my nails. They bleed and i know have arthritic and carpel tunnel from it. I laugh after everything and Im constantly nervous, which has stopped me from getting a job (im 17 and ive never had a job before). Im sorry for the long description but what im trying to ask is, are there any methods of treatment that don’t involve medication. I want to quit biting my nails and I want to be able to talk to people without freaking out. What are some ways to help? THank you!
I have similar problems, and talking to a professional is helping me a lot. Most insurance plans/school plans will cover this. I know how hard it is to be nervous all the time, and college was really scary before I started getting help. You don’t have to get medication, but a therapist has a lot of tools that can help you.
