Anxiety Disorders Definition

Whats the nicest way to tell someone they are neurotic?
This is the definition: Neurotic is relating to, involving, affected by, or characteristic of a mild psychiatric disorder characterized by depression, anxiety, or hypochondria or somebody regarded as overanxious, oversensitive, or obsessive about everyday things.
This describes one of my best friends who has become quite neurotic over the last year. What’s the nicest way to tell her to freaking knock it off. It’s killing me.
There isn’t a nice way to do this if your only concern is how annoying her problem is for you.
If she is annoying you, stay away from her. If you still want to be around her, make it upon the condition that you are engaging in some fun and lighthearted activity, like playing a game with a group of friends or going ice-skating or going to get a manicure/pedicure together. Show her, don’t tell her, that life doesn’t have to suck.
If you are really concerned that she is at risk of hurting herself and you are not close enough to deal with her any longer, try to talk to one of her relatives/ someone who has some sway over her behavior.
