Anxiety During Pregnancy Symptoms
just found out i’m pregnant with #2… but having a very hard time?

I was extremely excited when i first found out, but i have been super emotional and depressed ever since. without judging, i really need some advice. i take zoloft for depression/ anxiety. i know it’s unsafe during pregnancy… but if i just stop totally, it makes me physically sick and i get these electrocution sensations in my head …. i also am on medication for adhd… and i *did* smoke a few cigarettes a day to relieve stress.

now everything has been cut out of my life cold-turkey, my husband is at work literally 24/7, overnights, mornings, etc… and my son has been feeling the stress and really acting out.. what can i do to try to calm down a little and get over all these withdrawal symptoms to help my son and new baby!? thanks!

Lay on your bed and take deep breaths 5 seconds in and 7 seconds out and actually count in your mind. This will help you to relax. After you do that 10 times think of a nice forrest with beautiful trees and sound of birds and take your mind there. Then think about the little baby growing inside you and think about it growing in your womb being part of you and be proud. Do his every day and if you can let your son think of the baby as a friend growing waiting to be with him. I wish yo all the best.
