Anxiety Eater
I need energy!!?

Can anyone tell me what is the best foods to give you energy? I don’t have loads of money to spend and i am a picky eater! I am also suffering from anxiety and depression (being tested for bipolar) so my moods can vary from happy and full of energy to very down and some days i feel ok in myself but have no energy at all! I don’t eat the best diet now, full of chocolate and sugar to give me false energy but as my medication is kicking in i want to help myself and have a whole new life change including my diet so what would you recommend? I am not over weight so this isn’t a diet just need lots of energy

My best suggestion is to get more sleep. If you get sleep, your body feels rested and then it will be able to burn carbohydrates faster to give you more energy. Foods or sugars will NOT work. This is because the sugars in them will cause your body to work extra hard to burn them all and after theyre all gone, you will feel extremely tired. Some days when you have no energy, you should just try to shake it off. Your anxiety and depression problems are causing that and honestly, there is nothing you can do about that except the medicine your doctor may proscribe to you. However, if you get more sleep, then your body will probably be able to fight off some of the loss of energy caused by your anxiety and depression.

hope i helped =)
