Anxiety Effect On Blood Pressure
Anxiety question? Is anyone else like me?

I’ve had anxiety for a couple years now, generalized. It does not effect my social life, I just get really nervous around certain people sometimes. My chest gets all red and blotchy and I’ll sweat. I can feel my heart beating a lot too. I have palpitations also that have been checked for something serious and it’s just related to my anxiety. Some days will be really good and others I just feel so anxious, like I could scream. I get it at night sometimes too. I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and feel really anxious and it will feel like my heart is beating really hard and fast and then I’ll feel my pulse and it’s totally normal. I also have night sweats sometimes. My doc just took me off birth control pills because my anxiety is making my blood pressure high. I’m hoping this will help. I don’t want to be on medications so I’m trying to cope with this. Is there hope for me?

have you tried deep breathing when you get nervous
