Coffee on an empty stomach leading to anxiety attack?

Today I had very little breakfast and then drank a large, regular coffee. I had nothing else to eat for the majority of the day. Later, I experienced severe cramping and nauseau, followed by dizziness, tingling and racing heart/sweaty palms. I thought I was going to die and I’m pretty positive it was just an anxiety attack.

I rarely drink coffee. Reassure me that it was the cause of all of this. It is late at night and I ate a meal and drank fluids, but I still feel shaky with minimal cramping.

You are not dying lol.

Many people (me 2) don’t eat in the morning (which is bad) and have coffee. I eat around 11am – lunch.

Now when I don’t eat at that time and must be active, I get hunger headaches, dizzy, shaky, gas pains etc. (sometimes not all symptoms together); blood sugar drops. Have a mint or coke.

When I do eat later, the built up gas causes a diarrhea – leaving me hungry again (so I then eat at bit again). I generally eat healthy, so no weight problem here.

Gas causes the pain everywhere (headaches incl). Remedy:

Crush 2-3 garlic cloves and drop into a teacup/ mug. Fill cup with 1/4 measure water, cover and allow tea to draw. When still warm, sip. Repeat as necessary.
- The garlic clove tea works better/ faster than garlic pills etc.
- Garlic is very good for elevated blood pressure, migraines, etc and is a natural anti-biotic.

Do not make poor eating habits a habit; you pay for it via poor health, as you get older.
