Is it normal for anxiety to be worse after a night of drinking?
The day after when Im hungover from a night of drinking is hell for me. My anxiety is horrible. I have anxiety attacks, flashbacks of stupid things I did or things that happened in my life, and it gets so unbearable, I scream things, like NO! STOP! etc. I can not control the outbursts. Is this normal?? Why after drinking?
I think its worst because the alcohol makes you forget all your woes and when you are sober it all comes rushing back. Do you take anything for anxiety or depression?? Maybe you should seek help from therapy to figure out and help what causes your anxiety to begin with.
Best wishes…good luck.
