Anxiety Food Triggers
My IBS is driving me insane!!!?

I could really use help here. I was diagnosed with IBS in early November–after a month of being able to eat nothing but crackers, juice, and bread.
Since then, the symptoms have subsided somewhat and I’m trying to find any food triggers (so far, the only one is spicy food). However, I’ll go through periods where I’ll be in horrible pain, get diarrhea no matter I eat, and constantly feel nauseous like I may throw up. There is no rhyme or reason for these flare-ups.
My doctor also put me on Prozac for anxiety/depression, as it’s the only SSRI that doesnt cause me to gain weight. However, it almost feels like the nausea has gotten worse since I started the regimen 2 weeks ago.
Does anyone have any advice or insight? I’d really appreciate it. I’m starving cos I can’t eat much of anything anymore.

It’s my understanding that stress is a major trigger for many with IBS. You might consider yoga, stress management or prayer to control the stress level that is obviously high right now due to your condition. It might help.
