See a doctor. They can get you the help you need.

What are you worried about, then? Social life? Bullying?

You should see a doctor. You’ll likely grow out of it, but it could be a problem with your heart too, so see a doctor and get a check up right away.

Yeah…I agree, go see a doc…I suffered major anxiety since I can remember but it came to a point where I needed to get some help b/c ,like u said, it is so menatlly exhausting…I started to see Psychotherapist to work on where the anxiety originates from & what triggers it…then I started some meds b/c I felt like I wasn’t coping & I just wanted to take the edge off…that was 6 months ago & I’m finally starting to feel better…anxiety sux…some people have no idea how bad it really is….

You could start by talking to your school guidance counselor. They may be able to refer you to someone or provide you with some anxiety reducing techniques. You may want to consider medication as well.
One technique that you can use to reduce worry is this. (sounds stupid, but it works) Every time you begin to feel worried about something, write it down on a piece of paper and put it in your pocket. Later on in the day, pull out the pieces of paper and decide which worries you can do something about and which you cannot. For the ones that you can control, do something about them. For the ones that you can’t, throw them away. I know it is harder said than done to put anxiety on the back burner. Good luck!

I would recommend seeing a Psyciatrist, who will talk with you and evaluate you and your problem. Then he/she will probably perscribe medication and maybe even some counseling. The counseling is important, because it helps you get to the root of what might be causing the problem (if it’s not a chemical imbalance in your brain), so that hopefully one day you can get off of the medication.

I was having a problem with anxiety along with my depression, so I was on medication for anxiety along with all the anti-depressiants that I’m taking. It took a couple years, but eventually I did get off of the anxiety medication.
