lump in throat won’t go away?

I’ve got a painful “lump” in my throat. It feels like I need to cry, but I can’t. It gets worse whenever my anxiety level increases. I would love a quick fix…? I know the deeper issues require more serious attention, but it would be nice to feel better physically.
Help, please.

You know my Friend feels the same way, she actually just opens up and cries, or she just scream really loud. But if it’s an actual lump get it checked.
