At what point might a clinician consider a diagnosis of Anxiety NOS (as opposed to determining that an anxiety response is “normal”)
Anxiety Disorder, NOS is given if some criteria are met for an Anxiety Disorder, such as Panic Disorder with or without Agoraphobia, but not all criteria are met to make that diagnosis. Would base the diagnosis on the symptoms, the presentation, and the situation that the client is currently experimenting.
