Can stress and anxiety cause allergy flare ups?

I’ve had minor allergies my entire life. A little sneezing or stuffy nose when the pollen or mold is high….minor allergies to some soaps and detergents….an allergy to nickel….but nothing major. However, in the last couple years as my anxiety has increased with work and marriage, it seems like my allergies have become more noticable. Is there a connection?
