joining the navy w/ history of depression, anxiety and add?

I was on antidepressants a few years ago for less than a year. My doctor said that he has diagnosed me with “ADD versus anxiety” a few months ago, and he prescribed me some meds, but I know I don’t REALLY need them (and I think the anxiety part is bs, I just sometimes have trouble concentrating in school).
I’m getting conflicting information on this being a problem or no for joining? I know I’ll probably need waivers, and I’ll have to be off of the meds for at least a year first, but is it a likely possibility anymore?

It’s very unlikely. Evan back when I was on Recruiting duty during dessert storm they would not do waivers for any history of mental/psychiatric disorders. Now there are very few waivers evan being submitted. Just getting a waiver recommended is a long shot, never mind getting one approved.
