Anxiety Out Of The Blue
I have anxiety attacks. HELP!?

I am fifteen years old. When I was eleven, I fainted in church. I was taken to the hospital and put on an IV and left at night after my heart rate went down.
That has traumatized me.
Ever since, I have been afraid of fainting. I get anxiety attacks out of the blue and feel shaky and my heart races. I hate this feeling.
My mom said she gets anxiety attacks too.
Also, in January, this year, I went to visit my Dad and I guess my stomach was up-set and it made me puke all night.
That feeling has traumatized me also.
Yesterday, I was walking home from the store and as I was waiting to cross the street, I got an anxiety attack and felt like I was going to die.
I walked home with my heart racing like crazy. I was so scared. I hurried home and my mom gave me water and I sat in front of the fan to cool down. (It was hot out). I hate these feelings and I don’t know why I get them! HELP!!

That’s intense anxiety alright. Anxiety builds over time, like a bubbling pot with a lid on it, when you’re at your psychological limit, you bubble over in attacks, your brain simply cannot process any more at the moment, you have momentary let downs like heart pain, chest pain, trouble breathing, shakes, sweats, trembling, can’t speak, tingles, pins and needles in arms and legs, numbness, vomiting, gut-ache, tension and migraine headaches, racing heart, racing thought, dissociation, derealization, shock.

Untreated anxiety can kill us.

Panic attacks are different but the results are the same, they’re triggered instantly, maybe the sight of that church where you fainted or the inside of the hosp room with an iv pole would trigger a panic attack in you.

I take medicine for it now, I don’t suffer like that anymore. I got tired of trying to be tough and I did not want to see a psychiatrist or try medicine, I was scared. Modern medicine is a miracle – but that is my story, I wish you luck.
