Anxiety Over Work
New job have to role play, such anxiety over it?
Started a new job, today is day 4. I am not getting along with anyone. I am the oldest in the group and cant relate to all these overseas on a holiday working visa at all.
Well today we have to role play and I am feeling sick in the stomach over it, did not sleep last night and anxiety is real bad. I feel that this group is talking behind my back and today will be a disaster. Might resign, do you think I should continue

Why do employers insist on putting us through this crap? Whatever happened to you go to work, you do your job, you get paid and you go home??
It seems to me that less and less emphasis is put on doing a good job in the workplace nowadays, it seems like the emphasis is on how you can impress your employer with your dynamic personality.
I really dont know what to suggest. Maybe you could tell your boss how you feel about this. I feel for you, because I couldnt (and WOULDN’T) do it either.
And I bet you are not the only one who feels this way.
