Anxiety Pains In Head

head pain, infected pimple on scalp.?
Ive been suffering with headaches for 5 months now. It started with stress. I also have realy bad anxiety but im slowly getting over it.
Now my head pain is always at the back of my head on the right side. My neck is also very tense on that side.
The pain is like just aches in that spot ot like stabs or quick deep throbs. In the same area i have these little pimple things n they itch, i scratch them and then they scab.
I seen my doctor yesterday who gave me antibiotics for my head, he said its an infected sweat pimple and looks nothing like psorisosis.
Could the scalp infection be causing me headaches in that spot?
If you have severe tension headaches, you are probably rubbing your neck a lot. Your hands are covered in natural oils, and other things that will quickly clog your pores. If you are continually rubbing that area, it will increase the chances of getting pimples there, and I believe that could be the cause of increased pimple “activity” on your neck/scalp.
My advice would be to use some Noxzema or other cleanser of your choice and keep cleansing the area every morning and evening to help keep your pores clean so that they do not clog up as much.
As for the tension headaches, hot showers, actively decreasing your stress, and making time for you may help. In college I found that going to the gym daily helped me a lot as well.
I wish you the best!

The Mindbody Prescription: Healing the Body, Healing the Pain $7.77 Dr. John Sarno caused quite a ruckus back in 1990 when he suggested that back pain is all in the head. In his bestselling book, Healing Back Pain: The Mind-Body Connection, he claimed that backaches, slipped discs, headaches, and other chronic pains are due to suppressed anger, and that once the cause of the anger is addressed, the pain will vanish.
