what is the pathophysiology of ineffective breastfeeding due to anxiety?
My guess would be that the stress hormones (cortisol, maybe???) interfere somehow with the hormones needed for effective breastfeeding (like oxytocin and others). I know it does happen though – it’s the reason I couldn;t breastfeed!
