I get pleasure from picking at my gums with a dental pick.Why does it feel good?
I’m a bit embarrassed to admit to this, but picking at my gums feels fantastic to me and is a major stress and anxiety reliever. However, I’m a bit worried because I’ll practically be sitting there tearing my gums apart. There is usually a lot of bleeding. I’m concerned about infection and other possible complications.
It’s addictive to me and I can’t stop doing it no matter how hard I try.Could someone please help and try not to be rude and judgmental?

ok umm well what i would do is get rid of all the tooth picks in your house, then if you ever have the feeling you want to do it again just tell yourself how its not doing you any good…imagine it’ll hurt like he!! even if it doesn’t hurt at all. hope this helps!
