Depression and the country?
Why is depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder affecting the U.S. so much? I found these statistics:
But how come we aren’t on the suicide list but we are at the top of depression? I’m happy we aren’t, but I was just wondering why.

I am sure part the reason for the high depression rate is because people can’t treat it. If you have depression and no job then you don’t normally go to the doctor or can afford to get the medicine. In fact, I had depression and epilepsy and had to decide if I was going to spend the little money I did have on epilepsy medicine or depression medicine. With a ER visits from seizures costing over $1000 a piece I took the Epilepsy medicine. Without treating the depression it was hard to get the energy to find a job though. I would have been a more productive person if I was just able to go to the doctors and have medicine to treat my depression in the first place.
