Anxiety Stomach Ache
Anxiety induced stomach aches only when trying to go to sleep?

Ive been getting stomach aches at night lately when I’m trying to fall asleep. It doesnt have anything to do with the time or laying down, because I can stay up until 3 in the morning laying on my bed watching tv and be totally fine. But when I consciously try and go to sleep, my stomach gets all tight and nervous and I get a stomach ache and feel very nauseous. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can overcome this and get to sleep, or why this has suddenly started to happen. Thank you very very much. =)

Hey, it’s a bit out there but I’ll try…
When under anxiety (the biological mode for sensing danger so the blood flows into brain and muscles so that you can cope with danger basically) your body enters a mode called “fight or flight” which in turn, cause blood to FLOW OUT OF THE STOMACH.

I would suggest a few to things to try on first.
1. Exercise, and do it more and more and more… this would help you cut stress levels, open ways for oxygen to your cells (and stomach). Obviously this is also a sign if you’re not eating right.
2. Cut milk – see what’s happen, I know those cramps can be related and not only to lactose intolerance
3. Treat you anxiety. Your best bet is to train your mind unconsciously to respond differently..
Look under www.hypnosisdownloads.com and search what they offer for anxiety.. it’s cheap and you’ll be surprised.

Nighty night.
