Need to find Low Cost/Free Date Rape Counseling Services in USA?
As the title implies, I am looking for resources to help a friend of mine in Michigan who suffered this years back. She has bottled it up and kept it secret from most people including me, but she is a mess now, having anxiety issues and trust issues with men (understandable, of course). I feel she is unhappy but she is confused where to go for help. She is a college girl so she doesn’t have al;ot of money and I don’t either or I’d help her.
Does anyone know any counselors or support groups for this issue? I googled it but got a bunch of things about the law and prevention. I need the help for once it already happened though =S
Preferably low cost solutions, though if absolutely necessary, she can beg her parents for help I suppose.

1-800-656-HOPE, it’s the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Hotline. They can give you info to you or, better yet, give the number to her to call and they can give advice and counseling about where in her area she can go for help
