-ANXIETY! question for smart ones :) ?

My whole life i have had anxiety…i know that. but up until 6 months ago , i had a nervous breakdown and completely changed mentally and physically..i have been to doctors and everything, antidepressants dont work for me. and i have tried benzodazapines and they do help me…alot. but no doctor will prescribe them to me. i have tried self help and tried to get over the anxiety on my own. but it does not work it is crippling…i panic and pace and i dont leave my house and i cant think straight and i have racing thoughts…i do have a hormone imbalance too much testosterone and cortisol production which i am waiting to be treated. i just dont know what to do in the mean time . i stay in my room all day and rock and scratch my head and have obsessive thoughts, and cant stop worrying about my illness or whats wrong. i isolate have no life anymore when i used to. how do i pull out of this and get on the road to recovery? do i need medication?

If there’s one thing you need to remember it is this. Where the attention goes, the energy goes. Attention is the reason for like every mental state that ever has or ever well be. You can turn another direction by thinking about something else. Turn your mind to good things like improvement, betterment, freedom, acceptance. The more you focus on positive things, the more you will build up good connections inside your brain. And the more good connections you build up inside your brain, the more calm you will become. From what i’m reading, i get the impression that fear has come to such an extreme in your life. It’s about time to turn your thoughts in a better direction. Be mindful of everything you do. Step back and notice the thoughts you are having, why they are happening. Also thinking of your thoughts and fears in this way turns your attention to contemplation and understanding rather than the fears them self. And the more you contemplate and turn your mind to these things, the more contemplative and/or relaxed your mind will become. Remember all these stimuli that you are experiencing are just some sounds, some light, some feelings. They are just forms and motion.

Acceptance is another powerful tool. accept the negative thing could happen, and you will be set free.

Also change all your i can’ts to how to’s say “how can i stop worrying about my illness or what’s wrong” it turns your thought in a more productive direction.
