What is good ways to deal with anxiety?
The place I am currently working sold and in 10 days I move to another job. I am also moving at the exact same time. The new job I got is a top management position. I am dealing with severe anxiety and stress. I am working my old job full time and my new job full time which leaves me with no time to pack and move. So already being exhausted I can’t sleep due to the thought of everything that is changing in my life and the things that are not done. How can I get some damn sleep and deal with this anxiety?
Try breathing exercises. I was a skeptic once, but once i finally set my mind to doing it, I really noticed benefits. Just start by taking deep slow breaths in and slow breaths out. Try closing your eyes and breathing in thru your nose to a count of 4 and then breathing out through your mouth to a count of 8. Do this for at least 5 minutes and try to work your way up to 10 or even 15. I know that sounds like a lot of time when you’ve got so much going on, but it really does work.
