Anxiety Used In A Sentence
Do I have a learning disability? Whenever I am studying thoughts pop into my head and take my focus off of?

studying for an important exam. I also find that I don’t know how to recall information after reading it once. There is a lot of material for the exam. I use the internet rather than my text book to define terms. I then look in the book and compare the term on the internet and the definition in the book. I come up with an understanding of what the word means. Then I look at the context that it is in, but it takes me a while. I am trying to find out if there is a faster way to learn? I want these important information to be in my long term memory, not just short. I am also learning different languages and the pace of the class seems to be to fast for me. Pronouncing the words, then using it in a sentence, having conversations with other students. The anxiety.

I’m sure there is more. I’ve forgotten. Next time I’ll keep a journal.

That is pretty normal. Not everyone learns at the same rate. Some people, like me for instance, take longer to learn something but I tend to understand it far better when that moment comes. It just takes self-discipline and an understanding of your own ability.

You do not have a learning disability. You have an undisciplined mind. Just figure out what works for you. Not everything can be part of your long term memory. It is best to make sure key things are in your long term memory; things that can trigger other memories.

This is becoming a real problem in society. Schools no longer seem to teach how to lean. Instead they only tell you what to learn.
