How effective is 5-HTP for anxiety? (I recently bought Valerian Root for it but can’t stand the stench of it.)

Does 5-HTP really help with anxiety and what’s the best 5-HTP brand?

What kind of valerian are you taking? Pills or liquid? Try getting the liquid, and putting one dropperful into a cup of chamomile tea. I tried the pills and they aren’t half as effective as the liquid mixed with the chamomile tea. A cup of tea like that will calm you down very quickly and very nicely. And you don’t taste or smell the valerian (you will want a good quality tea-the one I posted below is the one I use, and it has a nice smooth flavor)
