Any one taking Buspar or Busprone(sp?) for Anxiety disorder(s)?

I’ve been taking Busprone for generalized anxiety (i’ve also been diagnosed w/ depression, OCD and prone to eating disorders) and was being inconsistent with taking it for the first few months (started at 15mg 1st 3 mo. than upped to 30mg by my Dr.) than discontinued for a few months b/c side effects and just started taking it consistantly the last few weeks and i plan to untill i meet with my Dr. again. When i was taking the 30mg a day it made me feel dizzy, sleepy and like i had a pillow over my head all the time- i felt like an un-emotional zombie. I started taking 15mg/day for 2 weeks now and it’s made it easier to control my obsessive thoughts/worries and i don’t get the 30mg/day side effects accept sleepiness sometimes. It has also helped me deal with obsessive thoughts on food and kept me from restricting/binging cycle i go through every few months.

Anyone else taking this medication and have similar side effects? How does this medication effect your anxiety?
