@sonicpower23 I think the very beginning is actually a song from one of the silent hill video games which leads into “rage” from 28 days later.

@latinbeatz $500. Still really low, but just saying. Also the whole budget thing bothers me. All this video would require is pirated or borrowed software, a camera, screaming/running family and friends, your own car and dv camcorder for props and a whole lot of hard work and sleepless nights. I just fail to see where budget really comes into play at all because it is all cg work.

How could you dislike this vid? One of the best composited fx demonstrations in any amateur film I’ve ever seen!

@XCDiscNinja If you knew this was made with a $300 budget you would realize the potential of this guy.

Halls of Amenti song by sick since and ATMA should be played to this video… do a search “Halls of Amenti” …. search it…you won’t be disappointed…

  • XCDiscNinja said:

are you kidding? so the guy should be hired as a special effects artist. does he have a great script? maybe. but no one really knows what the idea is. how is it better than cloverfield or war of the worlds? how does someone get a 30 mil. contract for a single 5 min video? i know so many people with original ideas that can sell, and clearly no one in the industry is hiring them. its an amazing short film with great fx, but i can’t see how this warrants a legitimate studio deal
