I adopted a 6 year old yorkie. She has extreme anxiety and goes to the bathroom inside. How do I train her?

She was adopted a month ago and the shelter told us she was probably abused. She is warming up to us, but continues to go potty ( #2) in the house, often directly after we’ve taken her outside. We have another trained dog in the house and we’re concerned that she is going to pick up on the bad habits, but don’t want to scare/upset our new traumatized dog. How can we train her, while keeping her feeling safe? How do we merge the two pets?
