Buspar Anxiety Reviews

Having difficulty remembering techniques under stress?

I am in clinical rotation at the hospitals. I have been unable to perform the techniques I have been tested on. I have passed all lab validations on these techniques.

There is usually no warning prior to having to perform the technique or procedure, so review is out of the question. At the time I am to perform the procedure or technique, I do not feel overly nervous, but I cannot remember what I am supposed to do. This has happened repeatedly and now, i am becoming more nervous when I am expected to perform.

I have went back and reviewed each night, but that has not helped.

Is this some kind of mental degradation due to anxiety? Has anyone experienced this?
I have read that buspirone (Buspar) could help with anxiety.Has anyone taken Buspar? Did it help? Any side effects?

I need to figure this out or drop out before I fail. Any suggestions?

How about having a friend come over and you can practice on a live person instead of reviewing only in your head. You could go through the motions of techniques and procedures on your friend. Your friend could give you some positive feedback to boost your confidence. I hope you will not give up on your clinical rotation. You are a smart person to have progressed this far. Best Wishes to you.
