Can dramatic loss of weight cause arrythmia?
Can dramatic loss of weight due to anorexia cause a sinus tachycardia type arrythmia?
I lost my appetite due to anxiety and basically just did not eat for about 8 weeks apart from the odd bite of someting here and there. I’m eating normally now.
I developed high blood pressure and sinus tachycardia with normal blood levels. It was blamed on stress and anxiety, possibly chronic fatigue as i get a lot of pain and neuro symptoms too. It all started when I had post natal depression.
Now I am on beta blockers to try and control my arrythmia and high blood pressure,though they don’t always work, could the cause of the heart probs be the not eating or could it just be the constant stress?
Anxiety + anorexia, can cause sinus tachycardia, and can be controlled by beta blockers.
